Neil Palmer & Associates is charged with planning and executing public consultation activities for the 1360-mile U.S. portion of the pipeline. The firm represents Keystone in local communities along the seven-state route and ensures the project team understands and responds to local issues and concerns. Working closely with TransCanada corporate resources and a multi-disciplinary project team, Neil Palmer & Associates has designed and conducted public consultation activities along the U.S. project route. Activities the firm has managed for Keystone include: open houses; meetings with landowners, local officials, community leaders, non-governmental organizations; development of fact sheets, brochures and other project informational documents; newsletters and other landowner and public official correspondence; paid and unpaid media; database management; and regulatory support activities. The firm has served as the principal project representative to local government officials.

The Results
